SuP works provides a single point of contact for components and mechanical assemblies that need to be replaced, reproduced, improved or newly manufactured. Projects can start from customer drawings and specifications, but also from incomplete documentation, existing components, samples or proven designs. SuP works takes responsibility for translating the available information into a practical manufacturing solution, coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, inspection and delivery.

SuP works acts as the contracting party and remains the customer’s single technical and commercial point of contact throughout the complete process.

ENGINEERING SUPPORT & RE-ENGINEERING

Engineering support turns available drawings, components, samples and technical information into a manufacturable solution, from replacing obsolete components to optimising proven designs or developing new solutions where required.

Replacement & obsolete components
Engineering support for obsolete, damaged or difficult-to-source components where drawings, specifications or other technical information may be incomplete or no longer available.
Reverse engineering
From existing components, samples, drawings or technical documentation.
Design optimisation
Practical improvements and adaptations to existing and proven designs.
Material selection
Selection and specification based on application and operating conditions.
New engineering
Development of new components and mechanical solutions where required, with particular expertise in regulating valves for slurry applications.

WELDING & FABRICATION

SuP works has direct local access to welding and fabrication capabilities as part of the complete manufacturing process, including certified welding, fabrication of frames, housings and mechanical structures, material traceability and controlled manufacturing documentation. Fabricated components can subsequently be machined, inspected and assembled within the same coordinated workflow.

Through our dedicated manufacturing partner, SuP works has direct access to extensive CNC machining capacity for one-off components and larger series. Capabilities range from precision turning and milling to multi-axis machining, horizontal boring and large-component machining.

SPECIALIST PROCESSES

Where required, SuP works coordinates additional processes through selected specialist suppliers, including cutting and forming, heat treatment, grinding and finishing, coating and surface treatment, wear-resistant materials, liners, linings and overlays.

ASSEMBLY, INSPECTION & DELIVERY

Components from the various manufacturing stages are brought together within one coordinated workflow for final machining, assembly, inspection and delivery.
